Job Duties:
(i) To examine
schemes prepared by WAPDA and KESC in the field of Power and to furnish expert
advice to the Ministry.
(ii)To monitor progress of power projects of WAPDA and KESC.
(iii)To renationalize the power tariff structure of the
country, CEA Chairs the Standing Power Rates Advisory Board which includes
public representative.
(iv)To appraise the ministry of Water and Power and the
Cabinet Division regarding power position in the country.

Qualification/Experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR an equivalent
qualification from a recognized University/ Institution. EXPERIENCE: Twelve
(12) years post qualification experience in Planning, Design OR operation of
Hydroelectric OR Thermal Power Stations OR High voltage Transmission Systems,
OR distribution systems in BS-17 and above OR equivalent in a Government/ Semi
Government/ reputable private organization.
