Social Media Strategist Torque Solutions,

Job Description:
The Social Media strategist will be responsible for delivering client counsel, strategic recommendations, and oversee execution of social media programs through the use of research and creative-analytics thinking.

The social strategist will use social analytic tools for conducting research to understand the opportunities for the brand, within the market, and competitive set. The role requires diverse experience across different disciplines such as social, PR, creative, and digital. The position will work with multiple teams to develop an Earned media plan with an approach and methodology employing traditional and online tactics.
As the social subject matter expert, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and effectively present recommendations to the client.
Expected Responsibilities:
Ideation Process
· Attend client briefing (at the discretion of the planner and client manager).
· Lead implementation of any research required from a social perspective prior to brainstorm – (ie competitive activity, social conversations, feedback from previous plans, etc.).
· Review research findings and draw out opportunities, themes, anomalies and determine how to apply them to the framework.
· Consult with Client Manager (if applicable) to understand brand nuances, what’s worked in the past what hasn’t, client expectations, etc.
· Work with the Client Manager to develop a brief for the session.
· Participate in the Ideation Process acting as the social media expert.
Strategy and Planning
· Use social analytic tools to understand social media behavior—identifying key insights relevant to the brand and problem.
· Ability to conduct search based research and utilize the search behavior in findings.
· Provide critical, insight driven and creative recommendations to the client that will meet brand and business objectives.
· Consolidate research based insights and recommendations into an over-arching social media strategy.
· Integrate social media elements into the strategic plan (consult with project manager if applicable to determine measureable outcomes and budget).
· Present social media findings and strategic recommendations to the client.
Client Management
· Counsel clients on findings and recommendations developed through strategic plans.
· Hold best-practices sessions to inform clients on the latest trends and techniques.
· Effectively merchandise results to clients.
Execution and Development
Oversee and manage the execution of social media and digital programs recommended within strategic offerings.
